Wondering how the Speed Dating Party works? Here are a few frequently asked questions. Please note that you will get an email with instructions and some more details the day before the event. It is highly recommended that you read the email for best results.
How does Speed Dating work?
After being shown to your table, the ladies will remain seated for the duration of the event. The gentlemen will move from lovely lady to lovely lady every five to seven minutes. All participants will be provided with some chocolates, a ‘Date Infocard’ and a pencil, simply write down your date’s name and indicate if there is an interest to see them again.
How do I get my matches?
After the event is over all attendees complete their score cards and return them to the matchmaker. The matchmaker will look at the Infocards and if there is a mutual interest between the attendees, their contact information will be exchanged. All participants will be notified via email within 24 hours after the event of your Stag & Doe Speed Dating Party results! You will get a detailed email with your matches names and contact information, and suggestions for the next steps.
Are the conversations private?
Yes and no. Conversations are private between you and your date. However, because we are all sharing a space together, there are other people around having their mini dates. Any information you put on the Date Infocard will remain private.
Can I attend the event if it is outside of my age range?
For the best experience and your success at the event, it is important to attend the event within your age range. This will ensure you meet singles in the similar life stage. Please select an event with the age range within two years of your current age to ensure compatibility and a great experience for all.
What if I am late or cannot make it to the event?
Being on time is pretty important all around, the event will start sharp at the indicated time. There is no guarantee that we will be able to have you join after the start of the event, so please be on time.
In the event that you cannot attend the event, please let the matchmaker know about it in advance if possible. If you do, your ticket will be saved for the next event of your choice. If you do not inform the matchmaker that you will not be attending the event, your ticket will be lost and non refundable.
What happens after the event?
Speed Dating Party is over, but the night is still young, feel free to stay as long as you like. Continue to mingle, get some drinks or maybe some dinner. All your host will need from you before you go on with your evening is the ‘Date Infocard’, to determine if love is in the air! All attendees will receive a detailed email within 24 hours with their matches and the next steps.
